Le Step was founded in 1994 and has grown to be the largest Modern Jive dance company in Queensland. Classes are available in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and  Sunshine Coast.

Le Step are the leaders in teaching Modern Jive (also known as CEROC) in Queensland.

 Every week we donate 3 nights of our dance classes to the Coolum Surf Club to use as a Friday night raffle prize. Contact the Surf Club for details.

 Classes are available on the Gold Coast and Brisbane, and now on the Sunshine Coast.

All ages from 13 and above are welcome to attend our classes. Some restrictions apply to under 18's. Contact us for details.

Bring your partner and learn together!  However, don't feel as though you need to bring a partner, as lots of people come to Le Step on their own.  The dance classes use a rotational system so that you get to dance with a variety of people.  Between classes, everyone dances with everyone!  Singles, couples, groups of friends - everyone is welcome at Le Step Sunshine Coast. 

Dress like you are going to a night club. Please wear closed footwear, but avoid sports shoes (sneakers, etc) as they have too much grip. 

Gentlemen, please avoid sleeveless shirts, and long pants are preferred.

Ladies, our recommendation is to wear comfortable shoes with a smooth sole so that you can spin. Low heels or flats work really well with modern partner dance styles. Of course, if you want to wear your high heels, that is fine too. Ideally, take a few classes with us before you buy anything new.
